NASHVILLE, TN AREA CASTING NOTICE: Independent Feature Film “Welcome Home Christmas” for PAID EXTRA work on either TUESDAY 8/11/20, WEDNESDAY 8/12/20 -OR- THURSDAY 8/13/20.

*MUST also be able to attend a FREE covid test at our site in Springfield, TN on Thursday 8/6/20 between 2:00pm-2:45pm

–(*you would not need to attend this test IF you already have your own written negative test results dated within 7 days of your selected work date)

Shoot Location: SPRINGFIELD, TN area (approx. 30 miles North from Nashville) – Filming will be both Indoors & Outdoors. SMALL scenes with between only 7-15 background actors total

**PLEASE DO NOT SUBMIT IF YOU ARE NOT LOCAL or able to be Local to the SPRINGFIELD, TN AREA

SHOOT DATES AVAILABLE: TUESDAY 8/11/20, WEDNESDAY 8/12/20 -OR- THURSDAY 8/13/20

ALL BACKGROUND SELECTED FOR THIS PROJECT WILL BE REQUIRED TO EITHER BE COVID TESTED ON OUR SET WITH CREW (free of charge) -or- PRESENT YOUR OWN NEGATIVE PRC COVID TEST DATED WITHIN NO MORE THAN A WEEK OF YOUR WORK DATE TO CASTING BEFORE BEING HIRED AND ALSO PRINTED OUT & BROUGHT TO SET WITH YOU ON YOUR WORK DATE. BOTH (1) PARENT/GUARDIAN and CHILD WILL BE TESTED. ON SET COVID TESTING WILL TAKE PLACE on THURS 8/6 in Springfield/Greenbriar, TN – FOR THESE WORK DATES ONLY!

Production Company and staff/crew are taking COVID-19 very seriously and have put very specific precautions and guidelines in place. If you are not comfortable being on an indoor set with other people or with any of the requirements above or below, please do not submit.

All staff/crew is required to have their temperature checked upon arrival to set by a set medic.

All staff/crew is required to wear face masks and/or face shields when on set.

Extras will be required to wear a face mask covering their mouth and nose at all times on set except while filming, no exceptions.

Extras will be required to take their temperature the morning of filming, fill out and submit a medical evaluation form from National Set Medics and will have their temperature taken upon arrival to set.

Social distancing, hand-washing and other safety guidelines will be in place in all areas of this set location including background holding

We do not yet have Call Time/Wrap Times, so you MUST have FLEXIBLE/Open availability if submitting to be available regardless of what Call/Wrap Times end up being to allow for changes. Please DO NOT submit if you do not have FULL DAY availability.

**EXTRAS** – this scene takes place at CHRISTMAS and will require WINTER clothing in August, so please be prepared for this situation!

COFFEE SHOP PATRONS: Male mostly but we do have (1) Female space open, ALL ethnicities, age range 18-70, variety of small town conservative types. Covid testing will be provided at no charge for this role

WEDNESDAY 8/12/20: (only 10 total extras this date)

COFFEE SHOP PATRONS: Male and Female, ALL ethnicities, age range 18-70, variety of small town conservative types. Covid testing will be provided at no charge for this role

THURSDAY 8/13/20: (only 14 total extras this date)

PIANO PLAYER (pantomime only) – Male or Female, ALL ethnicities, age range 20-65, variety of small town conservative types, prefer someone that knows how to play piano so that it looks like you know what you are doing (although you will not actually be playing). (*please specify experience when submitting). Covid testing will be provided at no charge for this role

UNIFORMED MILITARY – Male or Female, ALL ethnicities, age range 18-55, clean cut, short military type hair cut, conservative, in good physical shape, prefer those who have their OWN uniforms (either active duty or retired) but not required.  (*please specify experience and/or uniform when submitting) Covid testing will be provided at no charge for this role

BARTENDER & SERVER: Male or Female, ALL ethnicities, age range 20-50, conservative small town types, prefer those with previous bartending or server experience but not required (*please specify experience when submitting). Covid testing will be provided at no charge for this role

RESTAURANT PATRONS: Male or Female, ALL ethnicities, age range 20-65, variety of small town conservative types, prefer someone that knows how to play piano so that it looks like you know what you are doing (although you will not actually be playing).
