Production Description

Casting “Good Cuban Girls,” a story about leaving home – Little Miss Sunshine meets One Day at a Time in this Cuban-American coming of age story.

Synopsis: Samantha secretly applied to her dream college out East despite her Cuban family’s wish for her to stay close to home. While searching for a parking spot at the local college where Samantha is interviewing for a full ride, Samantha realizes that her sneaky younger sister stole the admittance letter to her dream school, and she must barter for it back if she wants to keep her secret from her family.

Rehearsal and Production Dates & Locations

Potential rehearsals beginning late September on Zoom; rehearsals may move in-person in October/November depending on campus COVID-19 protocols; shoots end of October/early November in L.A.

Compensation & Union Contract Details

Pays hourly on set. Meal, copy, and credit provided.
