Casting a Low Budget SAG feature film shooting in Louisville in March. 

Storyline: A teenage girl’s quest for the perfect kiss leads her on a path through high school drama and misunderstanding ultimately to self-discovery and true love.

Seeking: ACTOR TALENT AGES 18 and over (to play 16).

*Will consider 16-18 yr old actors.

Seeking talent available to work local to Kentucky.

*Will consider regional talent.

CASTING ROLES:

[BRADY TUCKER] 16 to 18 years old, Black or Mixed Ethnicity male. High School Senior, football player, good looking, athletic, but also with a sensitive side, plays in handbell choir. Sweet on Camille.

[ROSARIO MEJIA] 35 to 45 years old, Hispanic female. Must be fluent in Spanish. Mother of lead Camille, speaks her love through cooking. Loves her daughter, tries to understand Camille’s sexual orientation/interests and to support her daughter.

[RAY MEJIA] 35 to 45 years old, Hispanic, male. Ray is the father of the lead, Camille. Husband of Rosario. Family man, supportive but strict parental model. Traditional. Doesn’t understand daughters sexual identity. Thinks it is something she might “outgrow”. Conversational Spanish a plus.

[DJ ICE] 16 to 18 years old, all ethnicities, male. Senior in High school. Electronic Dance Music DJ. Real Life E boy with silver dyed hair and a dangling earring. DJ at the class rave party.

[PETE WANAMAKER] 16 to 18 years old, all ethnicities, male. High school senior, obnoxious, continually posting memes, negative comments and polls about Camille. Stoner.

[RAELYNN] 16 to 18 years old, all ethnicities, female. Pretty, popular girl who is the girlfriend of the popular boy, Dylan.

[VAL] 16 to 18 years old, all ethnicities female. Chipper airhead, interested in Horoscopes and Astrology. Senior.

[PLANT NURSE] 20 to 30 years old, all ethnicities, female. Retail Clerk at the Plant Parenthood Plant Nursery. Earthy, granola type. Talks to plants and very knowledgeable. Enthusiastic at her job.
