| • Mom AGES 30-38 We’re looking for a millennial mom who seems relatable, education-minded. Think of the PTA mom on your block who actually had cool ideas for your school. • Dad AGES 30-40 We’re looking for an older millennial dad who’s educated and a big softie for anything his kids want to do. • Daughter AGES 8-11 We’re searching for an inquisitive, but perhaps slightly quirky girl. She’s into science and math and biology because of the worlds those subjects open up. She has a kind heart and cherishes the time she spends with her grandmother, whom she views as a strong role model. This ignites a certain friendly competition with her older brother for grandma’s attention. And this dynamic is one of the major narrative threads of our story. • Son AGES 12-15 We’re searching for a boy who might seem to have a lot of energy, maybe a big interest in sports, but has laser focus on the things that interest him like space exploration. He’s taking advanced science courses and doesn’t mind showing off his knowledge. Being the oldest, he’s used to getting most, if not all the attention. And this causes a friendly competition of sorts with his sister for grandma’s precious time on this family outing. • Grandma, 60-70 Grammy is thrilled to spend time with her grandkids, but on another level, she’s thrilled at the way space travel has evolved, advanced and become democratized throughout her life. |
