The Anne Rice book trilogy “Lives of the Mayfair Witches” is coming to AMC and the AMC TV show is filming in the New Orleans area.

Those who live in the area have a chance to get a small part on the show as a paid background actor. 

Anne Rice’s Mayfair Witches is set to film a total of 8 episodes for the first season.

According to an article about the upcoming show on TVline, the story will focus on an intuitive young neurosurgeon who discovers that she is the unlikely heir to a family of witches. As she grapples with her newfound powers, she must contend with a sinister presence that has haunted her family for generations.
