“THE IRON CLAW” NOW CASTING Netflix comedy, Iron Claw is now in production.

“THE IRON CLAW”
Based on a true story, the film follows the rise and fall of the Von Erich family, a dynasty of wrestlers who made a huge impact on the sport from the 1960s to the present day.

Zac Efron is set to star in the project which is described as a comedy / drama. “The Iron Claw” comes from the writer and director Sean Durkin. Sean Durkin is credited with writing and directing the movie. A24 are producing along with Tessa Ross, Derrin Schlesinger and Harrison Huffman. The movie is also backed by House Productions, Access Entertainment and BBC Films.

The film is a comedic take on the true story of someone named Von Erichs. Erichs was a wrestler and the movie will be documenting the the family as they rise and then fall. The family, involved in the wrestling industry, made an impact on what has become modern wrestling beginning in the 1960’s and lasting straight through today. The family is considered a wrestling dynasty which is given some credit for shaping the course of of the sport.

CASTING ROLES:

This scene takes place at the WORLD OLYMPICS YEAR , SEPT 1979
MEN AND WOMEN 18-30s AGE RANGE to portray TEAM AMERICA AT THE OLYMPICS
We will see this group training for the meets!

Guys must be okay CLEAN SHAVEN (mustache at most)
