Here are a few bits of information about what Barbizon Placement is and does...
Barbizon Placement is a free service to our Barbizon Grads and select participants to help you take up and further your journey within the entertainment industry. It is a self-initiated program that enables our participants to leverage our industry network and reach out to vetted agencies, receive local casting opportunities, and be aware of the castings in all markets that Barbizon USA services.
How do you book jobs through Placement?
Barbizon Placement is a free service to our Barbizon Grads and select participants to help you take up and further your journey within the entertainment industry. It is a self-initiated program that enables our participants to leverage our industry network and reach out to vetted agencies, receive local casting opportunities, and be aware of the castings in all markets that Barbizon USA services.
How do you book jobs through Placement?
Clients contact Barbizon and/or Barbizon contacts clients to book talent.
Barbizon emails opportunities to ALL placement participants that meet the casting's specific qualifications within a 2-3 hour radius and then forwards submissions to the client.
Based on the individual availability of participants, you will submit using the specific guidelines for consideration.
Clients notify Barbizon of talent they’re interested in.
Booked jobs are invoiced to clients, and payment IN FULL is sent to Barbizon graduate. *BUSA does not take a commission of earned income.*
Barbizon Casting Site:
You will gain access to the listing of casting opportunities throughout the casting site once you are added to the Placement database.
Barbizon Agency Listing:
You will receive a listing of industry professionals - agencies, management companies, casting directors, photographers, etc., through the agency listing site. We have included the submission link and process for each company for you to follow and have a shot at seeking representation with personally vetted companies.
